The Club’s aim is to provide quality fishing at an affordable price, we are not an exclusive syndicate, although we do expect and require our Members to behave at all times in the best interests of the club and strictly adhere to the Rulebook. Founded in 1941 with just six Members the Club now boasts a flourishing Membership in excess of 1900 with Members from every walk of life and from many parts of the World. Membership is open to Ladies and Gentlemen over the age of 12 years. Membership is divided into two categories, Game Premium and Coarse Mixed with full Membership being available to all persons residing within 14 miles of Salisbury. Persons living outside this radius may join as Associate Members and do not hold any voting power at the AGM. Despite its wide ranging Membership the Club remains firmly in the hands of local anglers with a strong Management Committee elected bi-annually. The Club employs 2 full time Keepers who are responsible for the management of the fisheries. These are ably assisted by a hard working party of volunteer Bailiffs. Should you decide to take up Membership, have some time available and would like to help look after your fisheries our Keeper would be pleased to hear from you. The Salisbury & District Angling Club We thank you for your interest in the club and wish you TIGHT LINES. |
